Hello, friends, fans and gaming family! Instead of the weekly Shadows Over Sol 2e update, this week we're posting our quarterly Tab Update. We're over a month into the first quarter of 2026 and we've been busy!
Since the last quarterly update, we've published one supplement, Post-Mortem for Age of Ambition, and two one-sheet scenarios: The Satrap's Ploy for Age of Ambition and The Pale Exhibit for Shadows Over Sol 2e (patrons only-so far). This latter one-sheet will be released to the general public sometime after the core rulebook becomes available.
Most of our work, however, has been behind the scenes getting Shadows Over Sol 2e and its unlocked extras ready for release. Since the last quarterly update we've finished the playing cards, consequence cards, Foundry VTT support, the Prison Ship scenario and seen good progress on the layout of the core rulebook. Late pledges are open!
Looking to the future, our immediate concern is getting The Genesis Door scenario out of editing and layout, seeing the core rulebook through to its completion, sending out the backer survey and ensuring that February's Patreon release gets sent out on time.
Looking slightly further into the future, we plan to do the complete digital fulfillment, make corrections and then place the bulk print orders. Also, March needs a Patreon release. That should round out the first quarter of the year.
Beyond that, our plans are in the initial stage of active development. Our system dev and playtesting plans for the year have been outlined (our Patrons will be the first to hear of them later this month). But for now they're otherwise being kept under wraps. I can say that future Shadows Over Sol 2e releases have been outlined, and that the first big one has been slotted for the fall.
These future projects are all still in the outlining stage, but writing will begin once we see Shadows Over Sol 2e through to its digital release.
That's all for now. Have a great start to the year, and good gaming, folks!
